Quality assurance program – 1.2.3.1. The Assertive Professionals Team has adopted the American Society for Quality (ASQ) Six Sigma methodologies for monitoring and maximizing quality.  The quality strategy employed is called DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, implement, and control), which is driven by data.  Our project leadership will review outputs and compare them with quality standards, defined either by contract or by our internal definition, depending upon the requirement.  They will first determine whether or not an issue of quality exists.  If so, they will Define that problem, laying the groundwork for Measuring the data which may lead us to its root cause.  When input and process data are Measured, they can then be Analyzed for trends and regressions.  The output of this Analysis is then used to determine where and which changes should be Implemented.  Post-Implementation data is monitored to determine whether and how successfully quality has been improved in the process.  If successful, Controls are put in place to ensure that they are sustained.  The cycle then repeats, and additional quality improvement candidates are targeted.  The Assertive Professionals Team employs American Society for Quality-certified Six Sigma Green Belts through Master Black Belts, as well as certified Lean Six Sigma practitioners at the same levels.
